Introducing the King SP1. This was the first watch I built for this line. I have been chasing a watch like this for years. It is on the smaller side of 36mm and fits a smaller wrist perfectly. Typically a sport watch contains slightly more functional features, however the SP1 feels like more of a dressed up sport watch with its dive style tone on tone dial and indices. All of which frame up the boldest hand applied graphics yet. I jokingly say this watch is my explorer/sub/datejust.
Powered by a Seiko automatic movement that has been calibrated for the most optimal time keeping. Seiko’s movements are regarded as some of the best in the business, and I am honored to use them as the driver underneath my hand made dials and home assembled watches. All of this fits comfortably in the stainless steel case complete with a flat sapphire crystal and screw down crown. This basically means I swim in these watches and have no fear of water damage as long as the crown is screwed down to its locked position.
