an idea brought to life through the
fascinating hobby of watch-making.

It was honestly brutal, and I hadn’t felt a pain like that ever in my life. I just found myself continuing to go back to the watch bench to build my next piece, slow down my mind, and genuinely reflect on everything that felt out of my control.

I consider FAUX WRIST a form of art therapy. Making watches helps me understand my thoughts in a way that feels different . I feel like I can help carry on these legacies of my friends, or my dog, or just creativity in general, and pour that into a watch knowing someone will either wear this and continue to carry that light… or even just admire the project as a whole. I’m just trying to keep this positive, pick up the pieces every time I fall down… and make watches.
